Kelloggs leaves 5 for 99: After a 16 year run with Hendrick Motorsports, Kelloggs will be on the No. 99 Ford Fusion for two races as a primary sponsor, and as a major associate sponsor for the remaining races. (November 24, 2009) Made Official: Aflac announced that they have partnered with Kellogg Company. With the agreement it gives the company two races as the primary sponsor of the No. 99 Ford Fusion. It also will give the company a full-time deal as an associate sponsor of the car. (January 8, 2010) Aflac Partners with ScottsMiracle-Gro for NASCAR Races in 2010: Aflac announced today that they would be partnering with ScottsMiracle Gro next year for six races on the Sprint Cup Schedule. The Scotts paint schemes will appear on the No. 99 Ford Fusion for the following races: Daytona Shootout (February), Atlanta Motor Speedway (March), Bristol Motor Speedway (March), Texas Motor Speedway (April), Richmond International Raceway (May), and Charlotte Motor Speedway (May). (November 4, 2009) Changes made to 2010 Nationwide Schedule: Dover Motorsports, Inc. announced Friday that they were closing down Memphis Motorspors Park and that it would not be putting on any events during the 2010 season. NASCAR approved realightment of the schedule for 2010, by putting Gateway International Raceway in place of Memphis on October 23, 2010. That is bad news for another short track but adds another event to Carl Edwards' home race track in St. Louis. (October 29, 2009) Roush makes crew chief swap in Nationwide Series - Roush Fenway Racing has announced that effective immediately the crew chiefs from Carl Edwards No. 60 and the No. 6 will swap places. Crew Chief Mike Kelley will assume the role of the No. 60 crew chief position to get prepared for next season's full-time role on the season with Edwards and crew chief Dan Stillman will take over on the No. 6 side.
