Carl and Kate Edwards Welcome new daughter Annie into the world

Carl Edwards became a father at 1:44 p.m. EST, when his wife Kate gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
Anne Edwards came into the world, weighing 8 pounds, 4 ounces, born in Columbia, Mo. Both Anne and Kate are doing well, according to a release by the team spokesman. The Edwards' have been waiting patiently for this moment since their baby girl was expected the week of the Daytona 500. Carl Edwards is not expected to miss any racing time this weekend in Las Vegas due to the birth of his girl.
For anyone wanting to send flowers or gifts, the family requested that donations instead be made to Back 2 Back Ministries, c/o Anne Edwards, P.O. Box 70, 8118 Corporate Way, Suite 201, Mason, Ohio 45040.
Donations will be used for an orphanage in Monterrey, Mexico.
